Speaker Series
CEC offers free “Green Programs on Hot Topics” on current issues that generate conversation and new ideas. Recent programs have explored the impact of climate change on health, pivoting from COVID-19 to a sustainable future, the Green Monday movement, plastic pollution, gray water, fracking, sea level rise and native plant landscaping. Check our calendar for upcoming events.
Our 2023 Programs are described here.

In 2017 we provided advocacy training for 100 individuals throughout the county who were working on a variety of issues, including environmental action. Other opportunities include delivering surplus food to shelters and needy groups with Peninsula Food Runners, participating in Bay cleanups, and working on countywide efforts to improve energy efficiency and transportation.
